Back in August, we held the third instalment of Bushiroad Rumble Online (BRO) 2022! This time, we saw over 350 participants battling tooth and nail for the coveted Attack On Titan: Final Season PR card
and title of champion! Our stream also saw a record number of 8,567 views across the two days, double of BRO2021! Here’s a short recap of each of the finals in case you missed it.
Asia-Oceania — Freshcabbage (Mushoku Tensei: jobless reincarnation) vs. Middyspring-chan (BanG! Dream)
Starting off with the Asia-Oceania regional finals, Freshcabbage and Middyspring-chan's finals match came down to the wire, with both players ending the game at 3-6!
Freshcabbage ran a standard 8 Standby Mushoku Tensei: jobless reincarnation list that aimed at overpowering the opponent in the mid game and building an insurmountable advantage.

is a powerful level 1 play that generates card advantage thanks to her Eris's Request
climax combo that simultaneously mills through the deck while retrieving characters to set up for future turns! Eris lives up to her name as violent tsundere with a titanic 7,500 power at level 1 that proves difficult to match!
provides immense pressure in the midgame with her power to swing for two souls while also providing all other characters with a continuous 1,000 power boost! With a single copy of her on your stage, your "Violent Tsundere Young Lady" Eris
will be swinging for 8,500 power!
works well with the Roxy package to ensure on-demand card advantage with its ability to search out characters twice! You'll never have a dull turn with this gift! With the recent update to the restriction list, Mushoku Tensei: jobless reincarnation decks may no longer run both "Strong Body" Ghislaine
and "Just a Child" Rudeus
in the same list. While the closest equivalent to "Just a Child" Rudeus
would be Sylph
, but this would mean having to splash Green or replace the Roxy package, resulting in a possible loss in consistency. "Sword God Style" Ghislaine
would be a good replacement that helps in both the mirror match and against other decks running Standby.
On the other side, Middyspring-chan's Choice/Gate BanG! Dream list looked towards building a strong late game board state with "Rausch und/and Craziness Ⅱ" CHU²
boosted by Astonishing Speed, PAREO
, as well as chaining attacks with the climax combo effect of "Astral Harmony" Mashiro Kurata
.

Europe — WCC | Darcy (hololive production) vs. Tangjiro (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?)
Europe regional finals saw a full stage of Proof of Trust, Hestia
staring down Towards the Future Together, Houshou Marine
, with the pirate eventually coming out on top thanks to her swash-buckling prowess.
While Darcy's Kanata/Marine hololive production list was relatively weaker at level 0 and didn't run any level 1 climax combos, the deck's sheer strength and ability to generate resources from level 2 allowed for huge pressure to be applied in the mid-to-late game.

and On the Stage, Amane Kanata
, the Stay Like This Just For Today
climax combo provides a strong level 2 play that generates a large amount of stock to set up for late game plays while establishing a strong board state.
and her ability to chip away at her opponents with burn damage! On the other side, Tangjiro's Comeback/Gate Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? list also played towards having a strong midgame presence with characters like First Adventure, Bell
easily reaching 10,500 power with four copies of 【Fire Bolt】
in the waiting room. Stacking on events like Pyonkichi
allowed for even larger swings! In the match, Tangjiro's First Adventure, Bell
was even able to overpower Darcy's level 3 On the Stage, Amane Kanata
!

North & Latin America — Kuro (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) vs. H (RWBY)
The Americas regional finals saw an exciting finale once again featuring a full stage of Proof of Trust, Hestia
against the eclectic cast of RWBY.
Kuro's Comeback/Gate Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? list, while similar to Tangjiro's, notably excluded copies of both First Class Adventurer, Ais
and 【Sword Princess】 Ais
in favor of added consistency at the lower end. An additional copy of 【Little Rookie】 Bell
also allowed Kuro to run both the side lanes at level 2.

is a strong early-play option that helps with healing and compression. What's more, 【Little Rookie】 Bell
gets stronger with each passing turn if left unanswered without a proper early-play counter or sufficient power from the opponent. On the other side, H's Choice/Standby RWBY list saw the potential of large threats such as Yang: Warm Welcome
and Pyrrha Nikos
. Jaune: School Dance
and his School Dance
climax combo also allowed for some creative positioning, with Jaune: School Dance
at the back stage providing the effects to any character in the center stage.
