With effect from Aug. 4, 2023, Weiß Schwarz English Edition will be updating the restriction list to maintain a healthy tournament environment. The following restrictions will apply for all official tournaments:
Special Restriction
After extensive discussions with the team in Japan, a restriction will be implemented for the upcoming release of Booster Pack hololive production Vol.2. This restriction is in line with the Japanese version of Weiß Schwarz where a similar restriction was implemented on June 2023. This restriction was a result of a problematic combo that negatively impacts the game environment.
As such, the following cards will be restricted to maintain a healthy game environment.
◆ Boss, Nakiri Ayame (HOL/W104-E099 C, HOL/W104-E099S SR)
Although “Boss, Nakiri Ayame” is included in Booster Pack hololive production Vol.2, it may not be used in Bushiroad-sanctioned tournaments.
Additionally, there has been an update to the restrictions for the Fate series.
