Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol.2 Meister Set
Booster Pack Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol.2 will be released this weekend. We have previewed quite a large amount of cards from the set in articles over the last few weeks. Check them out HERE if you missed any.
We are also excited for the release of the Meister Set for Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol.2! Here are some pictures of what you will be getting from this special set!
Next, I would like to introduce a few more cards from the upcoming expansion this weekend. This time, we have cards featuring Shirou and Saber that works really well in a Shirou-Saber-Rin deck.
“Trace On” Shirou
【CONT】 During your turn, your other character in the middle position of the center stage gets +1000 power.
【ACT】 Brainstorm [(1) 【REST】 two of your characters] Reveal four cards from the top of your deck, and put them into your waiting room. For each climax revealed, search your deck for up to one character with "Shirou(士郎)" or "Saber(セイバー)" or "Rin(凛)" in its card name, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.
Everyone loves characters with the Brainstorm ability, especially when it comes with an additional power boosting ability. This card is no exception!
“Trace On” Shirou allows you to search for Shirou, Saber or Rin from your deck at a pretty low cost, making it an essential card in the deck if your deck is centered around these characters.
“Excalibur” Saber
【CONT】 If the number of cards in your deck is five or less, this card gets -1 level while in your hand.
【CONT】 This card gets +500 power for each of your other characters with "Shirou(士郎)" or "Saber(セイバー)" or "Rin(凛)" in its card name.
【AUTO】 When this card is placed on the stage from your hand, you may put the top card of your clock into your waiting room.
This card works extremely well with “Trace On” Shirou. Control the cards left in your deck wisely with “Trace On” Shirou and you will have a high chance of playing “Excalibur” Saber at Level 2. Not only does it act as a high-power defender, its healing ability will also bring you a significant advantage.
“Serious Assault” Shirou
【AUTO】 [(1)] When this card attacks, if a card named "“Rho Aias”" is in your climax area, you may pay the cost. If you do, put X cards from the top of your deck underneath this card as a marker, and this card gets +1500 power until end of turn. X is equal to the number of 《Weapon》 or 《Jewel》 characters you have.
【AUTO】 At the beginning of your opponent's attack phase, put all markers from underneath this card into your waiting room. For each [[soul.gif]] trigger icon among those cards, the character facing this card gets -1 soul until end of turn.
If you love gimmicky abilities, this card is the perfect card for your deck! It has an ability to gain power on your turn for a greater offence, while also sporting a defensive ability. In case you did not notice, 《Weapon》 and 《Gem》 traits are traits that fits perfectly a Shirou-Saber-Rin deck as well.
What's Next?
We will be back next week for some previews of the new Extra Booster The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Stay tuned!
